Void Filling

A non-invasive solution for filling voids and correcting erosion!

Repair problems with suspended concrete, water intrusion, and soil settling by adding an environmentally friendly closed cell foam. A no mess solution that is ready to use immediately!

Void Filling

Fast, clean, and ready to use immediately!

Voids in the ground can leave your concrete suspended and without the necessary weight bearing capability to withstand the application loads. Foam is a great solution for filling the void and restoring to it’s original strength! It can be done at a fraction of the cost of replacement and in much less time.

The process is very similar to concrete raising. Holes are drilled, foam is pumped into the void in a liquid form, and verification of the fill happens with a bore-scope in situations where you are unable to see the void with the naked eye.

Specialty Concrete Maintenance to Rejuvenate your Property

What causes voids?

Poor Compaction:

Lack of compaction during new construction will manifest itself as settling of the soils beneath the concrete.

Erosion:

Water intrusion beneath your concrete acts as a medium to move soils bit by bit over the course of time. This is most often allowed by a lack of sealant at your seams, incorrect pitch, or lack of backfill along the perimeter of the concrete. In this situation, polyurethane closed cell foam helps seal everything up! Also, refer to our seam sealing services page.

Decay of organic sediment:

Organic sediment such as trash, wood, construction materials, compost, etc are all examples of items that decay over time. The decay of this leaves gaps and voids within the soil that reduce it’s weight bearing capacity.
